OUR CURRICULUM

Guided by the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we embrace a hands-on, play-based and interest-based approach to learning aimed at children achieving the following learning outcomes:

  • A strong sense of identity

  • Connections with their world

  • A strong sense of well being

  • Confidence and involvement in their learning

  • Effective communicators

Our experienced, enthusiastic educators offer a balance of predictable routines as well as making each new day exciting, dynamic and fun.

Large blocks of uninterrupted play allow children the time and space to develop the confidence to explore, communicate, and build relationships.

 The Role of the Educator.

Educators work collaboratively with families and communities to offer children a rich program that fosters intentionally-planned learning opportunities as well as spontaneous ‘teachable moments.’

Educators include children as partners in decision-making processes by seeking out their ideas, opinions, thoughts and reflecting with children. This results in us being able to offer an ever-evolving curriculum that is current, meaningful and celebrates the unique interests, strengths, abilities and knowledge of all children.
