CONNECTION WITH OUR COMMUNITY

We are proud of the connections that we have made with our local community and wider community over the years.

  • We have established a close rapport with the local schools that intake the majority of our students.  Open communication and comprehensive reports facilitate students’ transition into the school system

  • We arrange for the local fire brigade and police to visit us annually to talk to the children about the important role they play in our community

  • We provide families with details of local community services that are available to them such as speech therapists, parenting support, counselling etc.

  • We have supported numerous charities and appeals – some of which relate directly to our families and others for the wider community such as bushfire and drought appeals

  • We also have a close relationship with the local council which has provided talks to the children about recycling and worm farms and donate native flora each year for our garden.

  • We have connections with our local Indigenous community which has assisted us with accessing suitable educational resources and helping us with the development of our ‘Welcome to Country’ sign
